I agree.
RTS games should be played sitting in a nice big comfy chair in front of a nice beefy gaming computer, with a can of mountain dew and a bag of Doritos chips.
Not in front of a console.
Yeah so the PS3 can take Mice and keyboards, but it just doesn't feel the same.
Haha! Bubbles for you!
Of course it was!
You know what that's called?
Making sure he's dead.
or he was just a sadistic bastard and likes shooting dead people.
Hell yeah!
Tanya was BADASS!
Those dual colt 45s TEARING through enemies was sooooooooo awesome.
=D
I miss the Westwood Command and Conquer games.
Those were the days... :-'(
Destructible Environments need not get in the way of storylines.
There are ways around stuff like that, you know.
Only a stupid developer would allow destructible environments to cause scripting errors.
Giving proper A.I. to NPCs and also giving the proper pathfinding skills would reduce or eliminate the need for designing each level with partially-destructible environments with certain "invulnerable" set pieces.
Here is a quote from a forum member on neoGAF, regarding devil may cry 4 and installs and such:
"Warning: Rant ahead.
Wow.
Seriously.
I want to strangle half of the people in this thread,
and I want to mercilessly pummelthe other half.
I don't think I've seen a more asinine breakdown of 'features' between two platforms in recent memory. honestly, it's like the collective IQ has suffered massive headtrauma, and a d...
I liked the UT III install....that shortened load times dramatically.
I played the demo and I notice ZERO framerate drops.
I have played it through several different ways and never noticed one frame drop.
And I'm REALLY picky about stuff like that and I can pick up on the slightest amount of anything.
This comparison is bullshit.
PS3 backwards compatibility ain't dead for me!
Why?
I was smart and bought a 60GB PS3 while I had the chance!
I am very glad I've got a gaming PC with 2 GB Ram and 512MB video card...that means I can play all 360 "exclusives" !
I guarantee you that texture popping crap won't be in the PC version.
Why?
Standard hard drive.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooOoOOOOOoOOOoO OoOOOo!
Why do interviewers always try to ask them questions they know won't get answered?
Nothing I hate more than hearing "We can't comment on that now" for half the f*cking interview.
Yeah, until internet connections are 10 to 20 times faster than they are today, you wont see anything close to what you can get with a physical medium such as Blu-ray.
I will never support Digital distribution over a physical medium.
It's not proper HD.
You're getting compressed crap that's not even close to the video bandwidth that Blu-ray is capable of.
I can't see netflix coming to PS3.
Blockbuster chose to support Blu-ray first, and I don't think Sony would screw and backstab Blockbuster by choosing Blockbuster Online's competition...netflix...that would just be illogical and just plain dumb.
I can see an apple-designed console being very powerful and incredibly well designed....
but REALLY expensive.
I could easily see an Apple Gaming Console starting at 1,000 US Dollars.
They would compete with Sony for the High-end of the console market. You'd see all kinds of built-in stuff....slot-loading drives...big hard drives...nice selection of audio / video-input / output...media playback focus...intuitive interface...etc etc.

In regards to where the blame lies....
It lies with the military.
If you are subjected to massive, life-altering trauma whilst serving in the armed forces, the it should be the military's responsibility to help you cope with it.
If they don't, that means they don't give a rat's ass about your military service and they are totally selfish and thankless in regards to the treatment of their veterans.
Transformers blew me away on regular dvd; I can only imagine how awesome it would be on Blu-ray.
